Knowing the Aeronautical Information Manual is
essential for every VFR and IFR pilot. It contains the
fundamental rules by which we operate. A great deal of
this information is operational in nature and not the
sort of thing that can be “looked up” while you are
flying (i.e. 10 miles from the airport, VFR, and
trying to plan an airport entry; or being radar vectored
to an ILS approach). Consequently, it is imperative
that you know, by memory, the information contained in the
AIM.
Our Study Cards will help you attain this goal!
The AIM Study Cards are a great tool for flight instructors to quiz their
students with, while reinforcing the information for
themselves. They are also an excellent tool for
examiners to draw information and questions from.
