When you click the LEARN button, the software references the Aviation Library and opens the appropriate book for this question - in this case, Chapter 14 in the Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge. Not only that, but the answer for your question is highlighted.

From here, you can choose to navigate the entire Aviation Library. At any point, you can close this browser window and you will be placed back into the test, right where you left off.

When you click the EXPLANATION button,a separate window opens offering you a concise, easy to understand explanation.

Flashcard Mode


The Flashcard Mode gives you an entirely different method for studying. When you choose to take a test in the Flashcard Mode, the question is displayed in the upper left window pane (the front of the flashcard). When you click the bottom left window pane (the back of the flashcard), the answer is revealed. Questions can be taken in a random order or grouped by topic.

Test Launch Window


All tests are chosen, configured and launched from the Test Launch Window. Simply choose a test from the dropdown menu, decide which of the three modes you would like to run the test in, and click the appropriate "Launch" button. A summary of the highlighted test is displayed in the lower part of the center window.
